A message from SPC-PAC: 71st House District - Freeman for the Future

On November 5th, the voters of District 71 (Eaton County) will have an opportunity to vote for a candidate who will listen and represent their views.

Sherry Freeman, the Democratic candidate for State Representative has taken on the brave challenge of running against incumbent Republican Susan Tabor in the staunchly Repuplican district. AND TABOR IS NERVOUS!

Sherry has received several key endorsements (including HEAL-PAC, Humane USA, and the Sierra Club) and represents the mainstream majority in the 71st House District on a number of important issues...including the continued protection and tradition of the mourning dove as a songbird in Michigan.

Tabor introduced and continues to push the dove shooting agenda in Michigan. She has been notoriously disrespectful to voters and continues to dismissively ignore thier wishes when they communicate how they would like thier vote to be represented at the Capitol in Lansing.

Sherry Freeman outpaced Tabor in the Primary and recieved 1,012 more votes within the party, even with a higher Republican turn out. Many traditional Republicans simply chose not to cast a vote for Tabor because they don't like her special interest out-of-state/out-of-district priorities. The GOP is concerned about losing the seat and they have targeted the race because of this.

Concerned citizens in District 71 need to get out the Vote on November 5th!
